Step 2: Review the Top 10 Interview Questions
CareerCove's AI has generated 10 targeted interview questions based on the job description. Each question covers a key competency area: technical depth, leadership, problem-solving, and behavioural scenarios. Review these to understand the full scope of what to prepare for.

Purpose: Review the AI-generated top 10 questions tailored to the job description.

Benefit: Eliminates guesswork by surfacing the most probable questions for this specific role, so you prepare efficiently.

Outcome: The numbered list of interview questions is visible and the resume selection section is ready.

Step 3: Select a Resume for Tailored Answers
Select a resume from the dropdown in the "Generated Answers" section header. This tells CareerCove which career history to draw from when crafting tailored interview answers. Choose the resume most relevant to the role you are applying for.

Purpose: Select a resume to provide personal context for AI-generated interview answers.

Benefit: Ensures all answers reference your specific achievements, skills, and projects rather than giving generic responses.

Outcome: The resume is selected and the "Generate Answers" button becomes active.

Step 4: Generate Resume-Tailored Answers
Click "Generate Answers" to produce personalised interview responses. Each answer references your actual skills, quantified achievements, and career milestones from the selected resume. A confidence badge (green, amber, or red) indicates how well your resume supports each answer.

Purpose: Generate resume-specific interview answers for all 10 questions.

Benefit: Produces credible, evidence-backed answers aligned to your real career story so you can practise with confidence.

Outcome: An accordion of question-answer pairs appears, each with a colour-coded confidence score showing your readiness for that question.

Step 5: Launch an AI Mock Interview Session
Select an interview type from the dropdown — General, Behavioral, Technical, or Situational — then click "Start Mock Interview". CareerCove launches an interactive AI chat session where the interviewer asks follow-up questions in real time so you can practise under realistic conditions.

Purpose: Launch a live AI-powered mock interview for the current job role.

Benefit: Simulates the pressure and pace of a real interview so you build confidence and refine your responses before the actual day.

Outcome: The AI Mock Interview chat session opens showing the AI interviewer's personalised opening question.
