Navigate directly to the Template Fit Analysis page for your resume. CareerCove runs an AI scan comparing the content, structure, and tone of your resume against all available templates to determine which layouts best match your profile.

Purpose: Access the Template Suitability analysis for your resume.

Benefit: Removes the guesswork of choosing a template by showing you data-driven recommendations.

Outcome: The Template Fit Analysis page loads and displays a grid of template recommendation cards.

Step 2: View All Template Recommendation Cards
The recommendation cards are sorted by suitability score in descending order. Each card shows the template name, a score badge, and a one-line AI reasoning summary. Scroll through to see all available options ranked for your resume.

Purpose: Survey all available template recommendations at a glance.

Benefit: Lets you compare templates side-by-side with objective AI scoring rather than subjective visual preference.

Outcome: All three template recommendation cards are visible, ordered from highest to lowest score.

Step 3: Inspect the Top-Ranked Template
Click on the highest-scoring template card to read the full AI reasoning. The detailed explanation highlights which specific sections of your resume score well with that template and what factors drive its recommendation.

Purpose: Read the full reasoning behind the top template recommendation.

Benefit: Builds confidence in the recommendation by showing exactly why the template suits your profile.

Outcome: The top template card is in focus showing its title, score badge, and detailed AI rationale.

Step 4: Review a Lower-Scoring Template
Scroll to a lower-ranked template to understand why it scores less for your resume. The AI reasoning explains which characteristics of your profile conflict with that template's structure, giving you full visibility into the ranking.

Purpose: Understand the AI's reasoning for a lower-ranked template.

Benefit: Helps you avoid templates that may reduce your ATS compatibility or visual impact.

Outcome: A lower-ranked template card is in focus with its reduced score badge and AI reasoning visible.

Step 5: Navigate Back to the Resume Dashboard
Click "Back to Dashboard" to return to your resume workspace. You can now apply the recommended template directly from the Dashboard's Template Settings section, putting the AI recommendation into immediate action.

Purpose: Return to the Resume Dashboard after reviewing recommendations.

Benefit: Keeps your workflow efficient — review the analysis then immediately act on it from one hub.

Outcome: The Resume Dashboard loads, ready for template selection and application.
